Odoo Intern – Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in Odoo Configuration:

  • Support senior team members in configuring and setting up Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).
  • Help with user setup, roles, and basic workflow configurations.

2. Data Entry & Migration Support:

  • Assist in preparing and importing data (e.g., products, customers, vendors) into Odoo using CSV files.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency during data handling.

3. Functional Testing:

  • Help test standard Odoo features and customized modules.
  • Report bugs or discrepancies and suggest improvements.

4. Documentation:

  • Document business processes, workflows, and Odoo configurations.
  • Assist in creating user manuals, training guides, or process documentation.

5. User Training Support:

  • Assist in preparing training materials or conducting basic training sessions for end-users under supervision.
  • Respond to basic queries from users and escalate when needed.

6. Research & Learning:

  • Stay updated on Odoo functionalities and features.
  • Explore Odoo documentation and participate in internal learning sessions.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Work with implementation consultants, developers, and project managers to support client needs.
  • Attend project meetings and take notes or follow up on assigned tasks.

8. Support Issue Resolution:

  • Help identify and reproduce issues reported by users.
  • Log issues and work with the technical team to ensure timely resolution.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems or business processes.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or XML (for technical interns) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for data import/export.
